Coming Downtown

Lie down beside me if it’s good for you
I only had to see you face-to-face
I won’t stay if you don’t want me to.

What is this crap we put each other through
the phone wires, through the length of rainy days?
Lie down beside me if it’s good for you.

One last sarcastic curveball, that who threw
at whom, and who got stranded on third base?
I won’t stay if you don’t want me to,

but you didn’t show up after, and I knew
a whole night might let wolves loose in our space
Lie down beside me if it’s good for you.

There’ll be a cab on Second Avenue
I’ll have the driver bring me to your place.
I won’t stay if you don’t want me to

— but seeing you illuminates the true path (for me)
through the whole beast-ridden maze
Lie down beside me if it’s good for you

to hold me now. Another night will do as well (I guess).
Though what I’m feeling stays,
I won’t stay unless you want me to …

“

This isn’t the time to make hard and fast decisions, its time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere. Fall in love –a lot. Major in philosophy ’cause there’s no way to make a career out of that.

Change your mind. Then change it again, because nothing is permanent.

So make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask again what we want to be… we won’t have to guess. We’ll know.

“Kita memang gamang.

Hehe.. Jadi keinget deh sama si tumblr ini, kepikiran buat make dia lagi sesuai fungsinya menurut gw :D Trus gara-gara itu, jadi kepikiran buat naro selewatan-selewatan (apa pula ini?) yang kepanjangan-buat-ditaro-di-twitter-tapi-kependekan-buat-ditaro-di-blog juga di sini.

Maka inilah gw main tumblr lagi :D

Oh!
